OIL-ITF, Tengakhat was commissioned in the year of 2007 with its own crude oil dehydration facilities like indirect glycol bath heaters & Electrostatic Emulsion Treaters (EET) of having design processing capacity of 7500 Kls/day and since then it has been playing a vital role in Oil India Limited. Further, to save & protect our environment and to dispose generated formation water with complying statutory norms, an Effluent Treatment Plant having a designed capacity of 1200 KL/Day, along with water disposal wells are also provided with the plant. ITF receives crude oil along-with the formation water from 13 nos. of Oils field installations. It caters total 76000 Kls storage capacity of crude oil to the connected installations for without interruption of their production at field level due to the ullage constraint. Post dehydration, the treated crude oil, within desired BS&W% is then handed over to pipeline dept. for their onward pumping to refineries. Menntion may be made here that ITF is a unique facility & with modern and state of art equipped installation in Oil India Limited.
